Livestock and their products account for approximately 68% of the total cash receipts from agricultural commodities in Kansas. As such, the Department of Animal Sciences & Industry is committed to providing unbiased, reliable information regarding the production and management of all livestock species to the maximum degree that our resources permit. Currently, the Animal Sciences & Industry department employs faculty who devote effort regarding beef cattle, dairy cattle, equine, poultry, and swine production and management.
