Research and Extension        

The Animal Science Research and Extension program is a diverse program that conducts research on animal health, breeding, and nutrition with several animal species.  Research is also conducted in food science and meat science areas to ultimately provide consumers safe, high quality food products.  The Extension program uses the research to educate the public with practical education programs to improve current practices.
