• Selling half embryo interest in the outstanding full sister to KSU Land Grant 153, the $43,000 record high selling bull of the 2022 KSU Legacy Sale, where he sold to ST Genetics, Delaney Herefords, Perez Cattle Company and Dvorak Herefords. Land Grant created quite a buzz last spring with his unique combination of stoutness and power along with balance both physically and genotypically. His first 100 units of semen averaged $150 in a special sale in May 2022.

• 151 truly has the potential to establish herself as the greatest female in the 141 year history of the Kansas State program, which was established in 1881. She is a combination of real-world function, high-quality phenotype, excellent EPDs and indices along with important extras of pigment and breed character.

• She’s loose structured, moderate framed, deep bodied and easy fleshing. Her dark red color, excellent eye pigment and overall phenotypic balance combine for a high-quality look. She's also extremely balanced on paper as she charts 14 traits in the top 20% of the breed. This includes being in the top 1% for CW, top 5% for WW, YW, SCF, M&G, REA, BII$ and BMI$.

• Homozygous polled

• Bred AI 4/14/2022, to SHF Houston D287 H086 and checked safe to that date, due 1/21/23.

•  Terms are as follows: Selling half embryo interest with no possession. Buyer is guaranteed three flushes with a minimum of six (6) embryos per flush. Buyer will provide semen and be responsible for all embryo costs on their flushes. Embryo work to be done at Cross Country Genetics, Westmoreland, KS. Embryos above six will be split by KSU and buyer, with buyer receiving the odd embryos and KSU the evens. Future embryos after the three flushes listed will be available to the buyer at a prorated cost determined by the overall bid price divided by the number of embryos guaranteed in those three flushes. Buyer will receive the first two flushes with KSU receiving the third flush after she calves. KSU retains full interest in natural calves. Buyer will not be charged for yearly maintenance of the female.
