Transfer Students

Transfer students can easily complete an animal science degree in two years with careful planning and preparation.

A transfer student coming from a junior college or any other university should plan to transfer in close to 60 hours of course work. This coursework should include fundamental courses like English, Speech, Math, Economics, Chemistry, Biology, and Accounting as well as introductory Animal Science courses if offered. Listed below is a link to Suggested Courses that are commonly taken by students transferring in from junior colleges. As a reminder, be sure to check K-state transfer Equivalency Page to be sure the courses you are planning to take will transfer in as the correct courses.
