How to Apply

If you are interested in the graduate program in Animal Breeding and Genetics at Kansas State, please send an e-mail to megrolf@ksu.edu, jbormann@ksu.edu, and bweaber@ksu.edu and let us know your future goals and past experience in genetics.

Please attach a current resume/CV, unofficial transcripts for any coursework, and any GRE and/or TOEFFL scores that you have.

Although KSU and the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry do not require GRE scores for admission, it is a criteria used in the evaluation of applicants into the Animal Breeding and Genetics group. Thus, we require submission of GRE scores to be considered for admission into our disciplinary group.

General admissions information can be found at: https://www.k-state.edu/grad/
