Brief Bio

Dr. Scott Schaake, Associate Professor in Animal Sciences and Industry, retired after serving 31 years.

Dr. Schaake's responsibilities included teaching ASI 102 Principles of Animal Science, ASI 105 Animal Sciences and Industry, and ASI 315 Livestock and Meat Evaluation. He advised hundreds of students and served as a major recruiter for the department throughout his many years in the department. He served as the coach of the Livestock Judging Team from 1992 to 2014, leading his teams to five consecutive national championships during his tenure.
