Lab Overview

The Dairy Processing Lab, located in Call Hall at Kansas State University, supports innovation across the dairy supply chain by combining scientific research, technical development, and practical training. Led by Dr. Ahmed Hammam, the lab focuses on improving the functionality, sustainability, and market value of dairy ingredients and products.

Our facility is designed to evaluate dairy proteins, powders, and formulations regarding their processing behavior, stability, and sensory performance. We collaborate with academic partners, industry associates, and student researchers to promote applied dairy science.
